Ames Choral Society First Rehearsal of 2026

Ames Choral Society welcomes new (and past!) members to join us this season! Our first rehearsal is Mon., Aug. 24 at 7:15 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 209 Colorado Ave. Enter through the west door and the joyful sounds will lead you to us in the Fellowship Hall!

Whether you’ve had hundreds of voice lessons or none, we love welcoming new singers like you to our group. This is a place to open your heart, your mind, and your voice to create music together. We laugh at our (own) mistakes, encourage each other to do our best, and create amazing music while building a supportive community.

No audition is required to join our group. Reading music and some singing experience are definitely helpful, but not required. We invite you to come to a rehearsal or two to see what we’re all about.
