Speaker: Bob Lindemeyer, retired ISU Associate Director for Media Development and Stanton Memorial Carillon Foundation past president

As Iowa State University marks the Campanile’s historic 125th anniversary, experience this multi-media history of the Carillon located in this iconic structure. Melodies from this 50-bell instrument are woven into daily life on campus – memorable to students and visitors alike. The program includes a charming video of Jim Wilson telling the story of his composing “Green Hills: The Bells of Iowa State.”

2025 Lecture Series presented in partnership by Ames History Museum and Ames Public Library.
