Drop in Craft: Felt Coasters – The Workspace

The Workspace is a vibrant arts and crafts studio nestled at the heart of Iowa State’s campus. Whether you’re a student looking to unwind, an artist seeking inspiration, or a member of the community eager to explore your artistic side, The Workspace welcomes you with open arms. With a wide array of tools, materials, and knowledgeable staff, you’ll find unique drop-in crafts, weekly paint your own pottery themes, classes and open studios. From pottery to painting, jewelry-making to woodworking, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Join them at The Workspace and let your creativity flourish! Create a set of coasters in fun circular patterns. Choose felt strips in an array of bright colors and coil them together to make a spot to hold your favorite hot drink this winter.

Open to all ages if accompanied by an adult, but littles will need help with the glue gun depending on age.

Drop in February 17 – March 14, Mon. – Fri. from 2 – 9 p.m. and Sat. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

$6 for a set of 2 or $10 for a set of 4 per person in studio/not available to go
