Pullstring & Colin Bracewell w/ Kibble
(alt rock)
Sat., Oct. 4 | 8 p.m. | $12 ($8 w/ ISU Student ID)*
For fans of: Jimmy Eat World, Franz Ferdinand, Bon Iver, The Pixies
Hailing from the Twin Cities of Minnesota, popular rock band Pullstring’s brand of MN power pop is influenced by many artists throughout the decades and brings what fans call “nostalgic vibes” to listeners. Their palette of sounds ranges from bittersweet melancholy to upbeat anthems and in the past couple of years they’ve toured relentlessly and played to packed venues around the Midwest.
A Minneapolis-based, Canada-bred singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, Colin Bracewell is paving his own pop-folk-rock path within the Midwest music scene. Bracewell has had several sold-out shows at First Ave’s 7th St Entry in Minneapolis, airplay on Minnesota’s The Current, and you can see him on NBC’s The Voice later this month!
