The Weary Ramblers, along with Beggars’ Bargain – Fifth and Clark Friday, Ames City Auditorium

The April 24 Fifth and Clark Friday Series performance will feature the popular Iowa duo The Weary Ramblers, along with Beggars’ Bargain. The Weary Ramblers bring years of experience to the stage with award-winning songwriting and chemistry. Chad Elliott and Kathryn Fox showcase multi-instrumental performances with tight harmonies and strong storytelling. Most recently, the duo won the “Best Solo or Duo” category at the International Blues Challenge. Beggars’ Bargain formed in 2021, merging Micah Spurlock’s Texas blues guitar with Joe Bach’s philosophical songwriting. Rooted in indie rock and Americana, the band views music as a vital tool for connection and a meaningful vehicle for change.
