Busload of Books Children’s Author and Illustrator Visit – Ames Public Library

Join amazing author and illustrator team Matthew Swanson and Robbi Behr as they talk about writing and illustrating fantastic books! Some of their books include the beautiful picture book Everywhere, Wonder and hilarious chapter book Ben Yokoyama and the Cookie of Doom. 

This year, Robbi and Matthew, along with their four children and dog, are living in a school bus while traveling to every state in the USA! Their Busload of Books tour is “a yearlong project to promote literacy and raise awareness of the challenge’s facing our nation’s public schools.”
