Gathering of Artists – Creative Artists’ Studios of Ames
The Creative Artists’ Studios of Ames [CASA] will host the Ames Community Arts Council’s Monthly Gathering of Artists on Tues., Feb. 20 from 6 – 8 p.m. at 130 S Sheldon Ave #107, Ames.
Founded in 2001, Creative Artists’ Studios of Ames [CASA] is a collaborative workspace where artists bring together limitless talent and passion under one roof. CASA Artists’ work ranges from two-dimensional works in various media, to sculptural and functional ceramic artwork. In Oct. of 2023 CASA expanded their space to include a Fiber Arts Node. Please join us for the gathering to see how this new space is being utilized to meet the needs of local fiber artists. CASA is a resource for artists in Ames, providing private spaces to work, learn, collaborate, and share their expertise with the public and each other.
The gatherings showcase local artists from around the Ames area. Artists and art enthusiasts of all types are invited to meet other artists, get feedback, get inspired, and have fun. The events are free and open to all. Refreshments will be provided.
The monthly Gathering of Artists is hosted by the Ames Community Arts Council and made possible with the support of the City of Ames Commission on the Arts [COTA].
