Jazz Night – ISU Department of Music and Theatre – 2.26.2025

The Iowa State University Jazz Ensembles and various student-led combos are vibrant and dynamic groups that bring the timeless art of jazz to life. Comprised of exceptionally talented student musicians, these ensembles showcase their improvisational skills, tight rhythms, and soulful expressions. With a diverse repertoire ranging from classic standards to contemporary jazz compositions, they captivate audiences with their infectious energy and creativity. Led by Prof. Mike Giles and guided by a strong tradition of musical excellence, the Iowa State University Jazz Ensembles deliver captivating performances that honor the rich history of jazz while pushing the boundaries of the genre.

Tickets are $5 cash/check only and will be available to purchase at the door 30 minutes before the concert begins in Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall on Wed., Feb. 26 at 7:30 pm.
