ISU Memorial Union-Maintenance Shop 2229 Lincoln Way, Ames, IA, United States

Since forming in 2015, Chicago’s Slow Mass has been committed to pushing its artistic vision forward at all costs. Though Slow Mass was previously built around a core lineup, this has evolved into a fluid cast that has expanded to feature collaborators who are spread across the country. The current lineup consists of Evan Bernard, Dave Collis, Sean Hallock, Emma McCall, Josh Parks, Josh Sparks, and Mercedes Webb. With Feel The Teeth, The Casket Lottery crafts an album that balances moments of triumphant energy with haunting, atmospheric tension creating a sound that both uplifts and unsettles. The music feels like a journey through an emotionally complex landscape—at times, bold and anthemic, at others, quiet and eerie—capturing the push and pull of struggle and revelation. Ottumwa, IA alt-rockers Moonlighting will open the show!
