DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the season at Reiman Gardens’ enchanting holiday light show! \nWinter Wonderscape at Reiman Gardens! \nEvent Dates & Duration Winter Wonderscape tickets are available for each Thurs.\, Fri.\, and Sat. evening in December\, as well as Sun.\, Dec.21 -Tues.\, Dec. 23. \nTimed ticketing is required – you will select a specific 30-minute entry window from 5  – 7:30 p.m. to reduce crowding. Visitors spend approx. 1-1.5 hours at this event. You are welcome to stay until close at 9 p.m. but last entry is from 7:30p-8p! \nSpecial Nights \nThurs.\, Dec. 4: Iowa Youth Ballet\, from Stephens Auditorium’s Production of The Nutcracker Ballet will perform 15-20 minute dance numbers every half hour in the Garden Room (at the end of the Winter Wonderscape Route). \nSat.\, Dec. 6: Toy Drive at Winter Wonderscape. Bring joy this season–and a new\, unwrapped toy–to help families in need. All donations go to the Boys and Girls Club of Central Iowa–with special guests from the Iowa State Cyclones Women’s Basketball Team. More details available here. \nAbout \nWinter Wonderscape Holiday Light Show is back for its fifth year and better than ever with our outdoor walk-through holiday light show featuring a variety of immersive light displays throughout the entire 17-acre site. Don’t miss our new and improved features and elements including motion and music. \nWalk through brightly lit tunnels and meander beneath fantasy lights that fall like stars. Wander among giant glowing flowers\, a massive disco ball twirling to music\, and a twenty-foot-wide fountain of lights that dances in color. Step into a whimsical Candy Land–inspired pathway\, filled with sweet surprises and vibrant hues\, then drift toward the firefly lights that flicker and shimmer like magic in the night. Don’t miss the breathtaking giant illuminated snowflake and the wide array of other sparkling wonders that make this light show a feast for the senses. \nReturning from last Year: Roast your own smores! This will be available every evening (weather permitting) near our Hunziker House. \nPlease note: the RG Express Holiday Train Display is not open during Winter Wonderscape due to capacity limitations. \nHow Timed Tickets Work: The above time and date specified is your entry time to Winter Wonderscape. You may show up anytime during this window of time. It is not the amount of time you are on site\, only the time you can enter the event. QR codes are required for check in. Please select the “Go to your tickets” link on this email to view your tickets. DESCRIPTION:A Reiman Gardens holiday tradition is back! Visitors of all ages will be enchanted by the RG Express Train from Sat.\, Nov. 8\, 2025\, through Sun.\, Jan. 18\, 2026. This detailed garden scale display was created by Applied Imagination\, an internationally recognized company whose train displays merge botanical design and architecture. The RG Express is one of only 18 North American train displays of this magnitude! Walk past\, around\, and under miniature buildings and bridges built in the likeness of some of Iowa State University’s and Reiman Gardens’ most significant buildings. Don’t miss the magic of the RG Express this holiday season!  \nClosed November 22\, Thanksgiving Day\, Christmas Eve\, Christmas Day\, and New Year’s Day. Open until 8 p.m. on Tues.\, December 2\, 9\, and 16 to allow for special nighttime viewing of the RG Express. The lighted buildings and holiday decorations help the season come alive as the trains travel throughout our indoor conservatory.  \nDue to capacity limits\, the RG Express Train Display is not open during the Winter Wonderscape light show. Wander among giant glowing flowers\, a massive disco ball twirling to music\, and a twenty-foot-wide fountain of lights that dances in color. Step into a whimsical Candy Land–inspired pathway\, filled with sweet surprises and vibrant hues\, then drift toward the firefly lights that flicker and shimmer like magic in the night. Don’t miss the breathtaking giant illuminated snowflake and the wide array of other sparkling wonders that make this light show a feast for the senses. \nReturning from last Year: Roast your own smores! Originally constructed in 1860\, the Farm House Museum first served the university as living quarters for various students\, Iowa State deans\, professors\, and farmhands. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1965 as the Knapp-Wilson House\, it honors Seaman A. Knapp\, author of the federal Hatch Act of 1887\, and James F. “Tama Jim” Wilson\, who became U.S. Secretary of Agriculture under Presidents McKinley\, Roosevelt\, and Taft. Following a six-year restoration in the 1970s\, the Farm House Museum became a public museum. Today\, the Farm House Museum\, an affiliate of University Museums at Iowa State University\, serves the public and student body by displaying numerous antiques with particular emphasis on the late 19th and early 20th centuries. DESCRIPTION:A Reiman Gardens holiday tradition is back! Visitors of all ages will be enchanted by the RG Express Train from Sat.\, Nov. 8\, 2025\, through Sun.\, Jan. 18\, 2026. This detailed garden scale display was created by Applied Imagination\, an internationally recognized company whose train displays merge botanical design and architecture. The RG Express is one of only 18 North American train displays of this magnitude! Walk past\, around\, and under miniature buildings and bridges built in the likeness of some of Iowa State University’s and Reiman Gardens’ most significant buildings. Don’t miss the magic of the RG Express this holiday season!  \nClosed November 22\, Thanksgiving Day\, Christmas Eve\, Christmas Day\, and New Year’s Day. Open until 8 p.m. on Tues.\, December 2\, 9\, and 16 to allow for special nighttime viewing of the RG Express. The lighted buildings and holiday decorations help the season come alive as the trains travel throughout our indoor conservatory.  \nDue to capacity limits\, the RG Express Train Display is not open during the Winter Wonderscape light show.
