This exhibition will explore America’s 250th through 250 primary source objects from honoring the land of the original Indigenous people to the plowing of the prairie, campus development and the fostering of generations of democratic and innovative citizens.

Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall, ISU 300 Union Dr, Ames, IA, United States"Concerto for Wind Ensemble" is a new composition by ISU Director of Bands, Dr. Michael Golemo. Commissioned by University Museums in honor of Beverly and Warren Madden, this dynamic concerto is inspired by nationally recognized artist Beth Lipman's creative outputs—including the newest sculpture in the Art on Campus Collection, "Hive Mind". Audience members will have the opportunity to experience how physical matter is expressed through music, in three movements in this world premiere featuring the ISU Wind Ensemble.
