Octagon’s Patio Nights
Visit the Octagon Center for the Arts (427 Douglas Ave., Ames) on the third Thursday of the month for Party on the Patio from 5 – 8 p.m. The gallery and gift shop are open, and it’s double discount days for members in the Octagon Shop.
On Thursday, July 20, enjoy The Bone People. Jazz-poet Debra Marquart and her collaborators, Peter Manesis and Anthony Stevens, fuse elements of rock, jazz, and rhythm & blues with poetry and storytelling.
