"Simon Estes: A Heart & A Voice" is a documentary tracing the extraordinary life of the trailblazing bass‑baritone who broke racial barriers in opera and carried Iowa’s spirit onto the world stage. The film follows Estes’ artistic rise and his far‑reaching humanitarian work. A post‑screening conversation with Estes, moderated by Brad Dell, chair of Iowa State’s Department of Music and Theatre, offers a rare chance to hear directly from the legendary artist.

ISU Chamber Orchestra Concert

The ISU Chamber Orchestra will be in concert Monday, March 30. The concert will feature Professor Andrew Bishop on Trumpet and works by Mozart, Albinoni and Elgar.

Admission is $10 for the general public. ISU students and youth under 18 are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door prior to the performance.
