The Miller’s Daughter: A New World Schubertiade – ISU Department of Music and Theatre

Join ISU Opera Studio and guest artists for an extraordinary collaboration with the Iowa Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, as we present the world premiere of The Miller’s Daughter:  A New World Schubertiade.  This unique adaptation brings together librettist Victoria Erickson’s creative concept with Jodi Goble’s newly composed music to bring operatic life to Franz Schubert’s iconic song cycle Die schöne Müllerin, just in time for its 200th anniversary.

Tickets are $5 cash/check only and will be available to purchase at the door 30 minutes before the concert begins.
