Vinyl Record Painting Drop in Craft – The Workspace

The Workspace at the Iowa State Memorial Union has loads of new classes and events as you move into your fall routine. Drop-in Crafts and Paint Your Own Pottery can be done in the studio, or if you’d like to take an art kit to go that option is available. Our hours are Mon. – Fri. 2 – 9 p.m. and Sat. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. through the end of November. Everyone is welcome at The Workspace.

Browse through our crate of old vinyl and use paint or special markers to turn a record into a piece of wall art. Write out song lyrics, create a mandala, make it abstract – the possibilities are endless!

Open to all ages if accompanied by an adult.
