ISU Choirs join the Tuskegee University Golden Voices Concert Choir for a concert and interactive lecture about spirituals by Golden Voices conductor Wayne Barr. In addition to weekly Chapel services, Golden Voices now serves as an ambassadorial organization, promoting the rich heritage and legacy of Tuskegee University through choral music. Čiurlionis International Piano Competition, the Cleveland International Piano Competition, and others, will present an all-Bach recital featuring selected works from The Well-Tempered Clavier. ISU Wind Ensemble and Museums – Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall

"Concerto for Wind Ensemble" is a new composition by ISU Director of Bands, Dr. Michael Golemo. Commissioned by University Museums in honor of Beverly and Warren Madden, this dynamic concerto is inspired by nationally recognized artist Beth Lipman's creative outputs—including the newest sculpture in the Art on Campus Collection, "Hive Mind". Audience members will have the opportunity to experience how physical matter is expressed through music, in three movements in this world premiere featuring the ISU Wind Ensemble.

30th International Festival of Women Composers – Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall

The 30th International Festival of Women Composers is organized by Dr. Miriam Zach. The concert with her ISU Organ/Harpsichord studio is Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 1:30pm in the Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall in Simon Estes Music Hall on the Iowa State University campus. Additionally, a service with music by women composers will be on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 10am at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ames, Iowa.
