Čiurlionis International Piano Competition, the Cleveland International Piano Competition, and others, will present an all-Bach recital featuring selected works from The Well-Tempered Clavier. "Concerto for Wind Ensemble" is a new composition by ISU Director of Bands, Dr. Michael Golemo. Commissioned by University Museums in honor of Beverly and Warren Madden, this dynamic concerto is inspired by nationally recognized artist Beth Lipman's creative outputs—including the newest sculpture in the Art on Campus Collection, "Hive Mind". Audience members will have the opportunity to experience how physical matter is expressed through music, in three movements in this world premiere featuring the ISU Wind Ensemble.
